This was me inventing Doctor Who fanfic characters in a New Adventures stylee. The Lady, yet another renegade Gallifreyan; Arran Daikini, a veteran space mercenary from the Dalek Wars; Shirley Matlock, a hip chick from the swinging sixties.

This was me experimenting with manga style! The flames were done using Photoshop's 'render/cloud' filter, using red and yellow type colours. The lettering's a bit dodgy, but I didn't like any of the fonts I had at the time so I drew it by hand.

No relation to any other characters by the name Flamebird.

Dynamix is a member of N-FORCE, a shades-of-grey team which could fit neatly into just about any universe. He's a grumpy Canadian with Telekinesis.

Dynamix was a character in a roleplaying game, designed by Mr T Bond, who was also responsible for Kami.

Continuing the theme of random tat, Bitstream is a character inspired by the ReBoot universe. He's a Web Surfr (sic), a lot like Ray Tracer ... perhaps a bit too much. I'd need to work him over a bit before using him in any kind of fiction, but I still think the picture's cool.

Kind of a mashup between Bart Allen and Enzo Matrix. He was the character I played in an on-line roleplaying game; I started playing as 'Impulse' from the DC Comic of the same name (later Kid Flash), and after a brief hiatus decided to do something fresh with him. I ended up merging him with the character 'Matrix' from the TV show 'ReBoot', produced by those fine people at Mainframe Entertainment.

Tina DeLorentis was yet another character in an online RPG, with the uncanny ability to either attract or deflect attention! She also has an interesting sense of humour, hence the name...
