How far have we got?

not very far...

bought the house - (tick!)
decided it would be a pretty good idea (but not if we are really going to do it)
found an architect... don't know if he's any good yet
found some sandstone - but it's not quite right
might have a builder
have set aside money - hope it's enough
have seen some kitchen units that will do...
