The Atari Team TapLast Updated: Thursday, 18 February, 1999 In issue 13 of Atari Computing magazine, I finally unveiled instructions on how to build am Atari Team Tap clone. Although there was an accompanying file listing the precise connections, the phrase "A picture paints a thousand words" rings very true when trying to actually build one of these. To this end I have produced a CAD drawing of the stripboard layout of the circuit, with each component type on a different layer. This is available for download as either an AutoCAD R14 DWG file (Zipped, 49Kb) or a more portable DXF file (Zipped, 62Kb). It has been drawn at a scale of 25.4:1 (yes, I forgot to switch into Imperial mode), and if you are able to work with such files you will find it is an invaluable aid to the constuction of this circuit. In addition, you should check back here in a few weeks for some programming details and examples to allow you to use the Team Tap clone in your own programs.
